How does it work?
-
Once you’ve got in touch with me via my contact form, we’ll book in a call to have a cup of tea and say hello. This call allows me to get an idea of your wedding day and what you’re hoping for with your stationery (plus I just love to hear all the details!).
Ahead of the call, I kindly ask you share any moodboards or imagery you’ve seen with me, so I can see what inspires you. Anything you think would be helpful to share with me usually is!
-
Following our call, I will send over a detailed quote. Provided you’re happy, I will then send over an invoice for a 50% deposit of the total fee.
l then get to work on the design proposals! These will include things like a colour palette and rough composition sketches to check that you’re happy with the overall direction. This is the time to try and nail down what we can, so the final design can go smoothly. Often you don’t know all the information for the day too early on - this is absolutely fine - I just ask for a very rough draft of the text so we can work out how much text needs to be applied for each design.
-
I will then get started on the final artwork! Once complete, I will send you final proofs to approve. Finally, I then request the final 50% balance ahead of me sending the final ready-to-print designs to you.
Although I don’t usually print on behalf of my clients, this is something I can do if you’re based in the UK for an additional admin fee of £25, plus any printing costs which will be quoted separately. If you’re based internationally, unfortunately I am unable to print on your behalf however I can of course offer my advice if you need.
-
No two projects are the same. Whilst one collaboration may be straightforward, another may take many more hours of detailed work! For this reason, each project is quoted for on an individual basis.
I have an itemised price list which I can send on request. Please note, I have a minimum spend of £300 for any custom project.
-
On our call we will discuss everything you’re looking for, but the more info you put in the contact form the better! From invitations, menus, place name cards to venue illustrations and maps - just let me know what your initial thoughts are and we can go from there.
I can help you source additional stationery items for extra special touches, like wax seal stamps, custom match boxes, luxury envelopes, ribbons etc!
Your stationery is one of the few keepsakes from your wedding that lasts longer than the day itself - for you to look back on and treasure forever.
-
I ask you to allow 4-6 weeks total from start to finish of the below (not including printing), however if you need items more quickly please let me know. I will always provide a rough timeline of when you can expect each stage of the project.
I do get booked ahead, so if you are very organised and wish to book a design slot in with me in advance, you are welcome to do so. Please let me know, and I will ask for a £50 deposit in order to secure a design slot in my diary (this deposit would be removed from any final invoice, however is non-refundable).
